Our
Great Family has been in Existence for many Millenia...
But
recently, A rift was discovered from our home planet, to the land
of Dereth. Our Kingpriest sent scouts through, and they
returned with great news. Having heard of the riches of the plane,
our Kingpriest, Lord Vaelyn decided he should go through
the Portal. He went alone, to Explore further. He explored the
plane, and found many enemies, So, he trekked back to the site
of the Great Rift to gather reinforcements from the home plane,
As he traveled, He saw many strange and wonderful things, many
alien to him, others familiar, but, he continued on, with a growing
sense of urgency.
Finally, after roughly a month, he Came within sight of the rift,
only to see it close in front of him. leaving him stranded on
Dereth! As he stood there, he suddenly felt very disconnected
from the Great Lord, Shai'Tan.
Distraught, he wandered Dereth for months, trying to puzzle this
enigma out in his mind, when, one day He was standing before an
odd looking tower, the answer hit him.... Gods need followers,
they are the source of their power.
His link with the Great Lord was so Distant, because the Great
Lord had no prescence here So, he decided that his path back to
the Great Lord, was to gain followers here. This brings us to
the present day in the history of the clan here, on the world
of Dereth.
